Fun Galore in the Hit “Once Bitten”

The plot revolves around the activities of a Yorkshire millionaire who goes to London, to enjoy himself. Thero he meets a designing lady who fills him up with champagne and then persuades him to accompany her back to her flat. Directly ho shows signs of making amorous advances, the girl screams, resulting in the sudden appearance of her “husband,” who thereupon demands hush money. The lad from Bradford refuses and aims a blow at the blackmailer, who falls down a lift shaft. Thinking he has committed murder, our Yorkshire friend, in panic, seeks the comparative seclusion of the seaside, shaves off his moustache, pur-loins-a pair of bedraggled pincc hez,
disguises himself as a waiter and gets a job. Complications arise when a friend, driving from town, has a motor smash, loses his memory and is brought to the hotel to recuperate. The millionaire is amazed when he finds that his old friend does not recognise Mm. The climax comes when into tho hotel walks the blackmailer alive and hearty. The waiter drops his tray with an appalling crash and the friend’s braain receives the shock necessary .to restore.his memory.
Lionel Atwill and Baby Jane, both of whom have recently completed Universal pictures, were recently cast in ‘ ‘The Man Who Reclaimed His Head.” This play by Jean Bart will star Claude Rains. Atwill 1 was last seen in "One More River,” and Baby Jane (the stage name of Juanita Quigley) has just completed a role with Claudette Colbert in “Imitation of Life.”
