Mostly Fine and Warm to Hot Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A fairly intense anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand and areas to eastward, while a depression is located over the south-west Tasman Sea. Winds: North-cast to north-west prevailing, light to moderate, but later freshening, especially over the South Island. Seas (New Zealand waters): Smooth to moderate, but later rising somewhat iu Cook and Foveaux Straits. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate but increasing northerly winds; seas smooth to moderate, but rising. Weather: Still for the most part line and warm to hot, but isolated local showers and thunder are probable. Some fog on the coasts.
