The Financial Times' Paris correspondent says that under the new wheat law the legal obligations not to sell wheat below 108 francs a quintal has disappeared. The restoration of the free market despite a holiday attendance on Wednesday, resulted in a number of transactions at 75 to 80 francs for three to four months’ delivery.
