Results of the quarter-finals in the Centenary amateur golf were as follow: McLean defeated Payne, 12 and 11. Smith defeated Eac, -1 and 2. Williams defeated Jackson, 8 and (3. llatlerslcy defeated Scott, 7 and 6. Though dull, the weather was ideal for golf. Playing brilliantly for 60, the beA round so far in the Centenary chain piouships, McLean went to lunch six up on Payne.
