Man’s Remarkable Will QUARTER-MILLION FOR YEARLY CONTESTS United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. •SYDNEY, Nov. IS. The conditions of the remarkable will of the late Peter Stuckey Mitchell are being brougiit to tho notice of the New South Wales Parliament. Mitchell was a wealthy grazier, and died 10 years ago. He bequeathed nearly £23U,000 for the physical improvement of tho Australian by means of yearly contests limited to 10 males and 15 females. The main test for males will be physical fitness, honourable fulfilment ot military obligations, and ability to swim and ride horses, and is restricted to youths under 21. Females musl have a knowledge of nursing and be capable of producing and rearing healthy babies. Both sexes must possess intellect and have a good understand ing of climatic and geographical con ditions in Australia; also British litera ture and specific portions of the Bible.
