TRAVEL CONPANIONS ARRIVE IN DOMINION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. The lives of two retired men who arrived in Wellington to-day by the Maunganui from San Fracisco, each to visit his farmer nephew in New Zealand, seem, to have been running almost parallel for the last thirty years or so. These two friends are Dr M. Tancred Stack and Colonel Cr, A. P. Brown.

Dr. Stack retired from his practice in Liverpool, England, four years ago, after having been in his profession for 30 years. Colonel Brown rotired from the army also four years ago, aftor 32 years’ service, in which ho campaigned in South Africa, West Africa, India, the West Indies, Prance, and after the Great War) Ireland. Since both their retirements the colonel and the doctor have been travelling together in Switzerland, Italy and tho United States.

Dr Stack has come to visit his nephew, Mr. IV. Saife, who is stationed at Glendhu, Central Otago. Colonel Brown will see his nephew, Mr. Anthony Brown, who is farming near Feilding. They w-ill probably return together to England via Java and Singapore, in March or April.
