Thrown From Motor-cycle

MAN AND GIRL INJURED Per JPress Association. TAUMARUNUI, Last Night. Bessie Gadsby and Edward 'John Trcssidcr, both” of Masterton, were proceeding to-day on a motor-cycle from Taumarunui to visit relatives av Nihoniho. When they were descending a steep incline about a mile from Taumarunui the forks of the front wheel broke and Miss Gadsby was thrown over the front of the bicycle, striking her head, the blow being minimised by a helmet she was wearing. Trcssidcr was also thrown and both were rendered unconscious. Trcssidcr soon regained consciousness, when he was picked up by motorists following them. Both were admitted to hospital, Miss Gadsby being still unconscious and T ressider suffering from shock and abrasions.
