Foxton
From Our Own Correspondent. The friends of Mrs. .T. G. Ilonore, of Avenue road, who recently underwent an operation in Palmerston North, will regret to learn that her condition is causing her friends anxiety. Mr. and Mrs. It. Bullard, of Christchurch, are at present spending a holiday in Foxton, where they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 'AV. E. Bullard, of Avenue road. Miss G. Coley, of Foxton, has returned from a holiday visit to AVelllngton. The friends of Mr. George AA'oods will regret to learn that he again found it necessary to enter the Palmerston North hospital for treatment last week. On Friday he underwent a further operation to his foot, and his condition is reported to be as well as can be expected. The friends of Mr. Jas. Boss will regret to learn that he lias lately been confined to bed with an Indisposition. Mr. J. Jj. McKean, of the local X’ost Office staff, has received advice of his transfer to AVanganui as relieving cadet. His position will be filled by Mr. D. J. Varcoe, telegraphist, of Mayfield, Christchurch.
Mr. and Mrs, AN’ i I by, formerly of Foxton and lately of Feilding, have again taken up their residence at Mofuiti.
