Sudden Death in Feilding
MR ROBERT TEAGUE A very familiar figure to residents of Feilding over a long period of years in the person of Mr Robert Teague passed away suddenly at his residence, Manchester street, on Thursday. As publication sergeant for the Salvation Army, the late Mr Teague was widely known, for -with unfailing regularity he distributed the Army’s ofiicial weekly journal and did this duly in a most courteous manner. Born in Melbourne 08 years ago, Mr Teague landed at Wellington at tlie age of 28 years, and after a short stay iuWellington aud Stratford, he finally settled in Feilding 82 years ago. Ho was very well known and respected throughout this district for his association of 30 years with the Salvation Army. He held the Army’s long-ser-vice medal and bar. Mr Teague leaves a widow, one daughter, Monica, of Feilding, and two sons, the Rev. Bernard Teague, a Methodist minister at Cromwell, Central Otago; and Mr Ray Teague, Korth Island manager for Messrs Yates and Co., Ltd. Much sympathy will bo extended to the family in their sudden loss.
