MIDGET RASPBERRY CAKES. Take 1 cup butter, i cup sugar, l cup milk, 14 cups flour, 4 teaspoon Stevens’ ‘Cathedral Brand’ Essence of Vanilla. 2 teaspoons baking powder, 2 egg whites. Cream butter and sugar, alternately add sifted dry ingredients and milk, ‘lastly folding in stiffly-beaten egg whites and Stevens’ ‘Cathedral Brand’ Essence of Raspberry. Bake in shallow tin, cut in squares, and use Raspberryflavoured icing.
