South African War Veterans’ Association

The annual meeting was held on Alonday with the president, Alajor Bosworth, in the chair. There was a good attendance and some new members joined up. Apologies for absence were received from Alajor Hume, Alessrs E. If. Smith, Bendall, Sylvester and Ridley. The report and balance-sheet-proved ihe association to be in a sound position. Tho election of officers resulted: President, Alajor J. T. Bosworth (reelected); vice-presidents. Colonel J. H. Why to and Air S. W. Lankshear; secretary, Air E. C. Gillanders; committee, Messrs Nice, Stevens, Hasloch and Coffee. It was decided that tho members meet quarterly in future. After a general discussion concerning tho welfare of the association, tho meeting closed, and a social evening was spent.
