AEROPLANE CRASH ON EGMONT. —During tho week-end an official investigation of the aeroplane which crashed on Mount Egmont with theloss of two lives was made by members of theew Plymouth Aero Club and Government officers. On left, Squadron-Leader L. M. Isitt (right) and Flying-Officer lan Keith are seen examining the wing of th e aeroplane as it hung from the trees. The view on the right shows the rata into which the aeroplane crashed, with all that was left of the win gs of the machine after the crash. The engine and fuselage were driven right through this hollow tree and landed twenty yards away. The hol e made through the tree can be seen about three-quarters of tho way up.
