Lindsay Embarks

GREENLAND EXPEDITION (Times Cable.) ANGMAGSSALIK, Sent. 16. The Lindsay expedition embarked on the Scottish fishing vessel Jacinth bound for Aberdeen, The ifio conditions are becoming worse 1 and it is feared that they may be obliged to TCmain in Greenland for another year. The French expedition under Charcot failed to penetrate the pack ice. and Count Bonzi’s Italian expedition was also unsuccessful. It is gratifying that a British expedition succeeded in reaching the common objective through unexplored country behind the cast coast of Greenland and without a depot or supporting party after over a thousand miles of sledging.
