INTER-CLUB MATCH MANAWATU v. WANGANUI. An inter-club match Alanawatu v. Wanganui was played during tho weekend, the seniors being at Belmont and the juniors at llokowhitu. Wanganui took the honours in the four-ball matches .and the singles at Wanganui but Alanawatu retaliated by taking both at llokowhitu. Iu the senior games at Belmont. A. E. Ekstcdt played down to scratch golf to account for Brian Silk 2 up. The Belmont course, on which will be decided the .1934 New Zealand championships, is in wonderful order at present and the greens, which liavo not a weed on them, arc in magnificent condition.
