SILENCE DURING CHURCH SERVICES. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 15. Armistice Day falling on a Sunday, the Archbishop of Canterbury has sent a letter to the Bishops, which says that ho has communicated with the Government regarding the King’s wishes. He hopes that tho religious services will specially refer to tho memories, hopes and resolves surrounding Armistice Day and will be arranged to enable a silenco to be observed within the churches exactly at 11 a.m. His letter adds: “I am communicating with other religious communions,’ ’
