From Our Own Correspondent. Bast week a meeting' of the Social Club was held, there being nine members In attendance. It was decided to have a light installed on the corner of the school, which would in that position serve several purposes. It was also decided to leave the matter ox hedge trimming for this year. As funds were rather low, an oldtime dance was arranged. The linal bridge evening resulted in Miss B. Thompson and Mr. J. Clarke being the winners. Mrs. J. Perry and her two daughters, Betty and Joan, are at present in Christchurch. Staying with Mr. and Mrs. A. Turner are Mrs. Stuart and Mrs. Stevens, both of Glasgow, Scotland. The latter will be spending most of the summer in New Zealand. Mrs. C. Sclmell has returned from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Baines, Feilding. Friends of Mrs, V. Payne will regret to hear that she is still an inmate of Pahiatua hospital. *
