Professional Road Racing

Over the week-end the Counties’ Cash Cycling Club held its usual Boucher cup road race, tho course being to Feilding and return, a distanco of 24 miles. Tho conditions for racing wero good with a fairly stiff head wind on the way home to steady tho riders up and consequently tho timea recorded wero not very fast. W. Smith, off tho limit (llmin.) crossed tho lino five seconds ahead of M. Luxmooro (Garin.) followed by A. Ganderlon 10 seconds later, Tho race resulted as under:—

W, Smith (llmin), Ihr Smiti So.seo 1 AI, Luxmooro (Gmin), Ihr 4min ~ 2 A. Gandcrton (Gmin), Ihr 4min JOsec 3 Also started: E. Pedloy (llmin), W. Rogers (9min), R. Aleehan (Gmin).

Luxmooro made fastest time for the distanco and Gandcrton second fastest.

The raco next Saturday will bo to Turakina and return and will commence from Terraco End at 12.30 p.m.
