Safety of Woolwich Arsenal

The British "War Offico has not yet como to a decision to move Woolwich Arsenal to Wales or somo other less vulnerable spot. Lord Hailsham, the Secretary of Stato for War, gavo this assurance in a letter to Sir Kingsley Wood, the Postmaster-General, although ho slated that the problem was being reviewed. Sir Kingsley, who is M.P. for West Woolwich, had asked Lord Hailsham for a statement on tho question. ‘‘The time has come again for ono of tho periodical reviews of the problem.” Lord Hailsham’s letter stated. “That is all. thero is to it, and it is no quesof our having come to a decision to move the arsenal to Wales or anywhero else.”
