Dr. R. Eager, medical superintendent of tho Devon County Mental Hospital told tho annual meeting of tho Mental Hospitals’ Association in London, recently, that ho remembered the time when patients used to be allowed to dress up as Kings and Queens. "“I cannot recall,” Dr. Eager added, ‘•'a hospital that did not have its King or Queen sitting on their respective thrones. Wo do not allow that to-day. We thing it is wrong to cater for the patients’ delusions.”
