GENERAL NOTICES. PALMERSTON NORTH CUT COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION POE. SANCTION TO DIVERT UNEXPENDED LOAN MONEYS. JCTOTICE is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council proposes at a Special Meeting to bo held at. 7.30 p.m. on the 21th uay of September; 1934, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to apply the undermentioned unexpended Loan Moneys in the following manner:— 1. To divert the sum of £407/7/10, representing the unexpended balance of a sum of £3OOO raised to enable tlio said Council to straighten, widen, and deepen the Kav.au Drain from Rangitikei Street north-east to the City boundary, and being portion of a special loan of £19,475 carried at a poll of Ratepayers ou the 2Stk day of January, 1920, for the purpose of enabling the said Council to apply tiie said sum of £467/7/10 towards the cost of tlio construction of a Stormwater Conduit from Princess Street along Dahlia Street and through private property to Victoria Avenue. 2. To divert the sum of £432/12/2, representing the unexpended balance of a sum of £IOOO raised to enable the said Council to straighten, widen and deepen the Ilokowhitu Lagoons where necessary, and being portion of a special loan of £19,475 carried at a poll of Ratepayers ou tlio 2Sth day of January, 1920, for tho purpose of enabling tho said Council to apply the said sum of £432/12/2 towards tho cost of the construction of a Stormwater Conduit from Princess Street along Dahlia Street and through private property to Victoria Avenue. 3. To divert the sum of £3lO/IS/10, representing the unexpended balance of a loan of £IO,OOO raised on October Ist, 1925 (to enable the said Council to make, advances to its employees towards tho establishment of homes for themselves) towards tho maintenance and repairs, of Houses erected by the said Council under tho provisions of the Housing Act, 1919, Any person having any objection to tlio proposed application is called upon to submit the. same in writing to the Palmerston North City Council not later than tho day preceding tho said meeting.
