Gift Evening for a Bride-to-be

A. very cnjoyablo gift evening was held in the Orient hall recently, by tho officers and members of Hinek.oa Eebekah Lodge, No. 40, 1.0.0. F., for ono of their popular members, Sister Kathleen Fahey, whoso marriage takes placo at an early date. The evening passed pleasantly with dancing, games and competitions. Alembcrs of Kowhai Rebekah Lodge, Feilding, wero also present and their Rebekah Band gave several items under their conductor, Sister Keynon. Air. Ron Scales also gave a tap dance. A dainty supper was served, after which Sister Fahey ivas called upon to open tho numerous parcels. Air. Cooper suitably responded on her behalf. A happy evening ended all too quickly with the singing of ‘ 1 Auld Lang Syne.”
