New South Wales to-day defeated Victoria by five matches to nil in the Australian associates’ golf championship meeting, which was played in drenching rain. Miss J. Hammond beat. Miss Susie Tolhurst, 1 up; Mrs. T. McKay beat Miss McLeod, 3 and 3; Mrs Goodall beat Miss Lascelles, 3 and 2- Miss V. Ebert beat Miss Bailey, 6 and 5; Mrs Robinson beat Miss Mil* lear, 3 and 1.
