Romantic Marriage

BARONET WEDS TYPIST QUIET LONDON CEREMONY A romantic marriage between a baronet and a typist took plaeo in London on July 11. Tho bridgegroom ■was Sir William Hawkslow Middlemore, of Woodside, Worcester, and his brido was Miss Violet Constance Kennagh, of Woreecstor. Only about a dozen people, relatives and closo friends of the bride and groom, wero present at St. James , Spanish Place, for tho marriage. So anxious was Sir William Middlcmoro to keep tho ceremony qdiet that on arriving at tho church ho refused at first to admit to press representatives that he was tho bridegroom. Later, Sir William said: “Both Miss Ivcnnagh and X wished to havo a quiet wedding. Thcro is to be formal reception afterwards —only a small family party—and then wo shall leavo for our honeymoon. Wo havo not even decided where wo aro going.” The bride, who is US, is of Irish descent .and is a charming brunette. She has been a- typist for some years in a Worcester motor showrooms. Sho waa educated, at tho Worcester Secondary School for Girls.

Sir William Middlcmoro, who is 26, succeeded to the title in 1924, on the death of his father, Sir John T. Middlemore, who was a former M.P. for tho Northern Division of Birmingham. Sir John was tho founder of the Children’s Emigration Homes in Birmingham and tho Middlcmoro Homes in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
