MID-CANTERBURY TITLES. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Sept. 3. The Miu-Cantcrbury amateur boxing title finals were held on Saturday night. Results are as follow: Heavyweight: E. Hawke beat IV. Lister by default. Light-heavyweight: Lister boat E. Parsons. Welterweight: I/. Towers beat .T. Driller. Lightweight: S. Guthrie beat E. Kenney by default. Bantamweight: S. Guthrio beat K. Kenney. Tho boxing was generally of a high standard.
