“D.X” Radio Competition

This competition originated some years ago, and on the occasion of, the pronouncement of each result the advance in the number of Stations logged has been amazing. This year the cup has been won by Mr D. N. Adams, 35 Bowker street, Timaru, who has accomplished the logging of 546 verified stations from all parts of‘the world on a "Majestic” Receiver. " ■ The “D-X.” Cup was won in 1931 by a “Majestic” Receiver, logging 291 stations; in 1932 a “Majestic” Receiver was successful with 366 stations; in 1933 a “Majestic” Receiver won the cup with a total’ of 4.16 stations; early in 1934 “Majestic” Radio again won the cup, bringing in 500 stations; and in July, 1934, ‘Majestic’ has again been victorious, winning with 546 stations.
