.Mr. T. E. Daley was yesterday initiated into the membership of the Palmerston North Rotary Club, being welcomed by Botarians V. S. Carter (pi csident) and G. G. Hancox. One of the best known settlers in West Otago, Mr. John Edgar, died on Saturday at the age of 92, says a Dunedin Press Association message, lie was born in Scotland, went to Otago from Australia in LSliO, and drove a bullock team with stores in the early days of the gold rush to Gabriel s Gull}.
