Lytton Street School Children’s Fancy Dress Dance
Children attending the Lytton street School, Feilding, as -well as bther schools, who attended the annual ifancy dress dance on Friday evening ■will long remember this happy and sue-
eessful gathering which drew an excellent attendance of adults. Every credit is duo to the ladies’ committeo of the School Parents’ Association for their splendid organisation and the school is fortunate in having behind it a sympathetic band of parents ever ready. to further the interests of tho institution. Thanhs are particularly due to Mesdames M. Green, P. Pearson, M. Andrews, T. Donaldson, F. Fawcett, IV. Norris, E. Scott, I. Symons, G. Loney, A. Kingston, E. Lairg, L. G. Moore, L.
Penney and C. A. Batt, who performed yeoman service in talcing charge of tho supper arrangements and to Messrs. Gilchrist, Christensen, Loney, Heald and Hayes for their services. The dance is expected to yield a substantial profit part of which will be utilised in establshing class-room libraries for the children of each standard.
