A very sociable evening was spent and at the conclusion of the shooting the B team proved to bo victorious by 921 to 908. This is the second time tho B team has registered a higher total than the A team, Supper was provided by the A team, after which Mr Eddie, on behalf of the B team, thanked their opponents for the interesting match and the bountiful supper. Mrs. Cooper, sour., is 'on a motor tour of the Rotorua districts. Mi', and Mrs:. lieg Cooper are also visiting the Rotorua districts. ' . Miss K. Rindsay, who lias been infant mistress at the local school for the past year, left last week to take up a position in Masterton. , Miss M. Twentyman. who has been teaching at, Pongaroa, is now assisting at the Hukanui school. Mr. and Mrs. C. Rasmussen have returned to their homo after a holiday spent in the ,nortli. The friends of Mr! C. Udy, senr., will be pleased to hear that he is slowly recovering from his recent serious illness. Mr. Workman, who has been in Hukanui for some time, is leaving to take up a position in the north.
