Friendly Societies’ Concert

The Palace Theatre -was crowded with an enthusiastic audience on Sunday night. The following items were received with, great appreciation. Loveday’s orchestra, /"Moonlight Madonna; ” ‘‘By a Waterfall,” “The Bubble”; song, Miss Kara Hana; instrumental' solo, Mr Sunborn; elocutionary items, Mr McCulloch; piano solo, Mr George; vocal medley, Maori party; recitation, Miss Archer. Mr Kells thanked the management, the orchestra and performers for their great assistance; also the public for their attendance in such large numbers, which showed friendly societymembers that their work in the community was appreciated.
