Ceremony Celebrated Recently at Pahiatua

DAY—BREMNER WEDDING. A wedding of considerable interest took place at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Pabiatua, when Jessie, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bremncr, of Ballanco, was married to William Wallis, eldost son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Day, of Makomako. Tho ceromony was performed by tho Rev. K. L. Warren and Miss Godfrey presided at tho organ. The church had been beautifully decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. Tho bride, who was escorted by her father, woro a frock of bluo and groy crepo marocain with felt hat and shoes to tone. Her bouquet was of white stocks, freezias, chrysanthemums and maiden hair fern. Miss Margaret Gibson, cousin of tho bride, attended as bridesmaid wearing a frock of grey and blue silk marocain, with a blue felt hat. >She also woro a rhinestone necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. Her bouquet was of pink chrysanthemums, Iceland poppies and asparagus fern. The duties of best man wero carried out by Mr. Frank Day, of Longbusk. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Sunday school where the guests were received by Mrs. Bremner and Mrs. Day. The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful, and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Day loft by motor for tho north, the latter travelling in a smart brown coat and hat. Their future homo will be at Makomako.
