Manawatu's Ranfurly Shield Challenge
ACCEPTED FOR AUGUST 25 Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The Auckland Rugby Union has advised the Canterbury Union that it will not he able to meet Canterbury for the Ranfurly Shield on August 25, and the Canterbury Union has decided to accept a special challenge for the shield from Manawatu for that day.
