Four months ended April, 1934. £23,493,051; £7,933,159 (£9,685,000); £13,808,000. Four months ended April, 1933. £16,542,032; £6,973,898 (£5,519,000); £8,023,000... Four months ended April, 1932. — £15,905,272; £7,605,006 (£8,195,000); £7,710,000. The value of specie excluded from the above return was as follows: — Month of April, 1934: Exports, nil; imports, £101,200. Four months ended April, 1934: £373,000; £395,000. In the official statistics imports from Australia are recorded in terms of Australian currency and imports from other countries in sterling.
