Midweek Rugby
FEILDING TO ENTER A TEAM
At a meeting called to consider the question of mid-week football, held on Monday evening, it was resolved to enter a junior team in the Manawatu Rugby Union’s mid-week competition. The team will' be known as Kdwbai and tlic colours will bo yellow and black.
The officers elected wore:—-Patron, Mr 11. E. Guthrie; president, Mr W. Hooper; vice-presidents, Messrs G. Wells, G. Darragh, J. Campbell, H. Hunt, E. Bcvan, C. Housemann, \V\ Andrews and E. Fair; committee, Messrs W. Dunn, N. Bramweil, R. Darragh, L. D. Rhynd and W. Glceson; club captain (held over); treasurer, Mr W. Dunn; secretary, Mr J. Lyons. There will be a- general practice for all ulavers at Johnston Park at 2-30 o’clock this afternoon, and regular will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
