MAKERUA DRAINAGE BOARD, CONVERSION OF LOANS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting oi' the Makuera 1 Drainage Board held on THURSDAY, the did day of May, .1934, at 10.30 a.m., the following resolution was passed: — “THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by The Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932/33, and all other powers it enabling and the precedent consent of the Governor-General having been given by Order-in-Council dated the Sth day of March, 1934, The Makerua Drainage Board hereby resolves to convert the existing securities as set out in the Schedule hereto into non securities bearing interest at the rate of £4. 5s per centum per annum. SCHEDULE. Rate of Interest TOTAL £146,450 THE date from which the conversion shall take effect is the Ist August, 1934. THE aggregate amount of the new securities to be issued in conversion of the existing securities shall be re-payable by yearly instalments over a period of twenty-live years, the last instalment being payable on the Jirst day of August, .1959. .SUCH ncw'sccuritics to bo issued shall be in accordance with the terms of the said Order-in-Council dated the Sth day of March, 1934.” The above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Makefua Drainage Board to be held at the Board’s Office, Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, on SATURDAY’, the 10th day of May, 1934, at 11 a.m. A copy of the said Order-in-Council is deposited at the Board s Oflicc, and may be inspected by anv interested persons during oflicc hours.
