Scottish Society Holds Fortnightly Ingleside
There was a large attendance at tho fortnightly inglesiilc conducted in tho Cosmopolitan hall by the Manawatu Scottish Society on Wednesday evening. The evening passed pleasantly with okl-timo dancing, music being supplied by a leading orchestra, and Mr. A. S. Cooper capably carrying out the duties of M.C. The winners of tho Monte Carlo waltz were Miss J. Gray and Mr. C. Burmcistcr. Tho announcements that the Pipe Band will bo conducting a euchre party and dance at Bunnythorpo next week was made by the president, Mr. T. S. Jenkinson.
