Crowning Ceremony of Queen of the Carnival
The Regent Theatre will be taxed to its utmost capacity on Thursday night to hear the final announcement of rosults of the .carnival contest campaign and to sec the crowning of the queen. The ceremony will be well worth seeing, and by "royal” command several novelty numbers will be presented. The Regent Theatre is an ideal place for the ceremony, and while it holds 1000 people, it will be found none too large on Thursday night. Naturally every member of the live committees will be present, and this alone represents several hundreds, while the robes to be worn by the live queen candidates, ladies-in-waiting and maids ot honour, will be an attraction for the fair sex of our community. The price of admission is within the reach of all. and those who wish to make sure of a scat should make their reservation at the booking oflicc in Broadway.
