Nonna Shearer To Star In “Marie Antoinette”
Norma Shearer will he starred in “Mario Antoinette, an Average Woman,” a film version of Stefan Zweig’s biographical novel, Metro-Goldwyn-Maycr announces. The story is of the Austrian princess who became the bride of Loui3 XVI and was executed by Trench Revolutionists in 1793, and will be made under the supervision of Irving Thalberg. Sidney Tranklin, who directed “Smiling Through,” “Reunion in Vienna, ’ ’ and “The Guardsman,” will direct the new picture.
