Rongomai
From Our Own Correspondent. Once again the opening of the Cricket Club had to be postponed owing to the rough weather, there being heavy rain over the week-end. It is to be hoped, “however, that it will be more favourable lor the week-end. During the week-end Mr. and Mrs. M. Hal), Mr. B. Seymour and Miss Wait, of ;Lime terrace, Takapau, motored to Rongomai. On returning they were accompanied by Mrs. F. Hall. Mr. R. McGlashan, the local wrestler, will be one of the Bush team competing at Featherston next Thursday night. Friends of Mr. H. Dunn, of Greytown, late of Rongomai, will regret to hear 'that he is at present seriously ill. Mr. B. Shanahan (Tane) spent the ■n-eek-end with relatives at Featherston. Mr. G. Davenport returned last week after spending a few days in Wellington.
