A “ City of the Sky ”

A 'City of tho Sky” is reported to be nearing completion in Russia. It is a giant aeroplane, claimed to be the largest of its kind in the world. Experimental flights are to begin early next year. This plane is designed to carry 70 passengers and a crow of six. It will carry so much apparatus to make it self-contained that to travel in it will be almost like being in a city. There will bo a cinema, a printing office, a powerful short-waro wireless station, and apparatus for projecting advertisements on tho clouds. The machine is a monoplane, with a wingspan of over IBoft. It will have eight ongiues, three on each wing and two on tho top of the centre section. The general capacity of the engines—about 4000 horso power—makes it possible to fly at a speed of about 150 miles an hour.
