Disarmament Talks Deferred
ADJOURNMENT TILL DECEMBER. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. GENEVA, Oct. 26. The Disarmament Conference has adjourned until December 3rd. Not Unwilling to Complete Their Task Received Thursday, 7.30 p.m. GENEVA, Oct. 26. The Bureau of tho Disarmament Conference adopted a recommendation in accordance with a proposal for adjournment by Mr Arthur Henderson, who said that for the Conference at this critical moment to adopt a policy which could be interpreted as an indication of unwillingness or inability to complete its task, would be-disastrous and would play into the hands of taosc who said that certain Powers did not intend to reduce or limit their armaments. M. Massigli indicated that the fall of the French Government had not changed tho situation. He said that any Government formed would undoubtedly favour a continuance of the work of tho Conference. Captain R. A. Eden said the British Government favoured the procedure now recommended. » Italian Circles Favour Delay TIME NOT REGARDED AS OPPORTUNE. Received Thursday, 9 p.m. ROME, Oct. 26. Official circles favour delay, as the present moment is not regarded as opportune for further talks.
