"Smithy” Accepts a Technical Appointment
ADVISER TO OIL COMPANY United Prcs3 Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Thursday, 10.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 26. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith has joined an oil company as adviser in aviation matters and will be associated with research chemists developing aviation fuels and lubricants. The appointment, however, will not interfere with “Smithy’s” private aviation activities and interests.
