It was a happy inspiration which was responsible for the appearance of the Marton Merrymakers in theh hi igh revue “Back Again at the Bulls Town Hall on Wednesday night, the Profits of the entertainment being devoted to the Bulls school. The company i came fresh from Marton and Hunterville with a big reputation, and they amply justified all the claims that had been made on tlieir behalf for “Back Again will go down as one of the finest amateur productions eve? put on in Bulls. Miss Jean Miller, who produced the revue, must be given great praise for her part. There was K?er a dull moment, and the programme was carried out with clock-work precision such as one associates only with professional companies. The keynote. of the whole performance was brightness. The longs were chosen with the utmost care in this respect, while the dresses worn bv the girls in the chorus and ballet numbers were the last word in grace and S" befitting their charming wearers. In all there were 32 numbers presented and it would be impossible to criticise one individually, but special mention must be made of Miss Miller s own dancing numbers So great wasi th applause in her toe tap dance that an encore was permitted. Miss> Millei aloO danced in a toe dance m the first hall which took the house by storm, iwo tiny little people, Mavis Faulding and Don Miller, gave an exhibition waltz which evoked considerable admiration from the audience. Mi. A. H. &atfteri » Crozier and his associates, Mrs. Taa.fe and Messrs T. Barton G. Denbow’and X Bosselman accompanied the items n splendid manner, and gave two d.light ful musical selections.
