Miss Pearl Newman, of Kiwitea, is visiting her aunt, Mrs Harris, at Inglewood. In the recent Canterbury University College Terms examinations, Miss Rosemary Tottman, of Palmerston North, was successful in both her subjects, English and French. Mrs. N. H. Sinclair returned to Palmerston North on Tuesday evening after - a most enjoyable visit to her pcoplo in the Old Country. Mrs. Sinclair visited Scotland and Wales, and travelled extensively on the Continent.
