Manchester Lodge

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The Manchctscr Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows held its usual fortnightly meeting on Thursday evening, N.G. Bro. Ryan presiding over a largo attendance. Invitations were accepted from tho Loyal Dannjtwirko and Kimbolton Lodges. Tho sick report was received with thanks. Arrangements are being made for the anniversary social and dance, which is to be held at an early date. P.D.G.M. Bro. Shannon reported on a visit to tho Dannevirko Lodge. Bro. Freeman was installed to tho position of cleclivo secretary, B.G. Bro. Christiansen acting as conductor and Leeturo Master Brother Bro. Dawiek as installing officer. Bro. Freeman expressed his appreciation of tho good wishes of the lodge. ’A vote of thanks was passed to those who helped to renovato tho lodge furniture. A tasty supper was served by the lodge sisters, after which the evening was spent iu social recreation.
