Palmerston North Repertory Society

A reading of A. A. Milne’s delightful comedy, "Belinda,” was given by the Manawatu Repertory Society at the Broadway Lounge last evening before a large and very appreciative audience. The reading was supervised by Mr. T. M. N. Rodgers, and the cast was as follows: Mrs. Treinayne, Miss Mavis Mortland; Delia Tremayne, Miss Babetto Rodgers; Betty, Miss Molly Nathan; Baxter, Mr. J. Garde Grimshaw; Deniston, Mr. Claude Johns; Mr. Tremayne, Mr. E. G. Spraggon. Following the reading the cake competition was won by Miss Molly Wischnewsky.
