Machine-gun Hold-up in St. Paul
POLICEMAN SHOT AND ANOTHER WOUNDED
United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. Received Thursday, 11 p.m. VANCOUVER, Aug. 30. Machine-gun bullets killed one policeman and wounded another as five bandits took 35,000 dollars from two messengers in St. Paul. The messengers stepped from a bank in the centre of the city, when the bandits’ leader commanded them to drop their packages, immediately raking the street with bullets. Two policemen dropped.
