TRAINING SHIP NOW TO BE BROKEN UP British Official Wireless Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 22. •The old Arethusa, the last naval rcssel to go . into action under sail, which for tho last GO years has served as a training ship for boys, is to-day in the hands of shipbreakers. She was toWcd from her moorings at Grccnitlio yesterday and was saluted on her last voyago to the yard at Woolwich by all craft on tho lhames. Much of her timber is being preserved, and her work as a training ship, through which 12,000 boys passed into the Navy and mercantile marine, will be continued by a new Arethusa.
