GET-RICH-QUICK METHODS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. A young Chinaman named Arthur Wong Chang was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment by Mr Page, S.M., to-day for obtaining credit to the extent of £3O 18s 9d from Picot Bros, by fraud. It was stated that ho represented that he was a business man with two shops in the city and wanted to open an account. He was given supplies of eggs valued at over £3O. He sold tho eggs round the city at prices less than cost. The police added that he was discharged from prison only last month and was getting quite a list for false pretences and theft.
