Miss Bartlett Makes Good in Grand Opera
Music lovers .in Palmerston North will be glad to hear of the promising start made by Miss Violet Bartlett in grand opora in Italy. Miss Bartlett, who is tho daughter of the Jato Mr. W. Bartlett and Mrs. Louise Bartlett, of Palmerston North, had her early musical training at the Convent, where her undoubted ability led to her going abroad to further her studies. Recently she appeared in the oponi, “Lucia ui Lammcrmoor’’ with signal success, nnu her many friends will watch with .interest her further triumphs.
