Free Ambulance and Hospital Service

REQUEST MADE TO BOARD. Representatives of the Free Ambulance met the executive of tho Palmorston North Hospital Board yesterday morning, making the request that the board should transfer control of its service to them. Reporting on tho deliberations to the full meeting of the board in the afternoon, the chairman (Mr. J. 11. Hornblow) said that tho Free Ambulanco representatives had furnished all the information that the board had sought. The request for the handing over of tho board’s service would be reported on by the executive and would then be considered by tho whole board.
